Last Friday I went to a mom's group/Play date in the park with ladies from our church and Bo was having a hay day in the swing!

Ok Jason showed me this really funny video that some guys made while they were in Iraq. It's pretty funny! It's to some hip hop song that I haven't heard before this but it was really funny. They changed the words, but yeah check it out!

Beaver costume!

We were packing up some of Bo's clothes that were to small and trying on ones we thought might fit him and we just had to try on his Beaver costume! HAHA! Cute!! we got a kick out of it! Anyways, then we were all laying on the floor and were playing around with the camera!

Pen Pal cards!

Her are a few cards I made for this card pen pal group that I am apart of from SCS! The first I used Rose red, Close to cocoa, and certainly celery. I also did the glitter window technique! The second one I used Chocolate chip, cool Caribbean, and certainly celery. The ribbon i used is actually really close to the color of certainly celery, so i don't know why it looks so yellow in the picture? The third card i used chocolate chip, mellow moss and whatever red is in the rich regals? I also used some designer paper i got at Michaels awhile ago!

New York Projects!

The first card is what I came up with as a Wedding card for Jason's friends whose wedding we went to in Gettysburg! Her color was Purple. I think it turned out cute. Kirstin gave me this dvd tin and then I covered it in this cool paper and she had a note pad in it and now it is my food journal! woohoo! The other cards are just ones that I made with Grandma and with Kirstin and Anna! It was great fun!

Gettysburg Battlefield!

Last Saturday we had a chance to visit the battlefields. It was really cool. So very interesting. If you ever have a chance to tour them Do it! Anyways here are a few pictures from our tour! The first two were taken at the Virginia monument the last two were taken on top of Little round top. The one photo is overlooking Devils den. It was an awesome view!

French Press!

Ok so Jason got me a French press for my birthday! I ventured out to use it this morning and I must say it makes some really good coffee! Our coffee maker is on the fritz so I was using our espresso maker but then I broke the little pot while washing it. So hopefully I don't break this one. eeek....cuz I would be really sad. Arighty I am off to change out my laundry and then take a shower and then I have to go to the commissary! I will post more pictures from the trip later! Chow!

I'm Back!!

Well Hello! I am back from my Vacation! It was great to get away for a week and a half but I am glad to be back home! We had a lot of fun Visiting my moms side of the family in New York! Everyone up there finally go to meet Jason and Bo for the first time! Then I was really glad to finally meet all of Jason's friends from Gettysburg College!! It was great to finally put faces with all the names! Anyways, tomorrow I will be uploading pictures from the trip and updating the blogs. Right now I am going to switch out the laundry and then go to bed! See you in the AM!

Bought and Sold!

My neighbor wants to buy some cards from me so I told her that i would make up a few examples and she can pick which one she likes best. Here are five of them. I think I might make one more. She said she really likes purple, but would like a few other colors as well and she said that she wanted at least on unisex one. So this is what I have come up with so far! The miss you one I actually did as an SCS challenge today! I had fun making that one. By the way it looks way better in person!

Announcements!

Ok, Last weekend I invited all my neighbors to a coffee get to know you/stamp camp and this first one was the invitation I made! It is just a postcard with all the info on the back. The next three are cards that I made to send out with Bo's new pictures. I made several different colors but here are three different ones!

Trying on new clothes!!!

So this past week Bo has grown out of all his 3-6 month sleepers and I went through my stash of clothes in his closet and found a couple 6-9 months sleepers! I tried them on him just to make sure they fit before I washed them and took all the tags off. He looked so stinkin cute I just had to take a few pictures! So here is my Handsome Boy!
