Time with Good Friends!

Last weekend was very busy for us. First Brian and Anna came down for three days. Brian was attending a Radiohead Concert here in St. Louis. It was really great to see them and catch up with them. Anna's little baby bump is soooo cute! They left Saturday morning. On Friday night My good friend Tiffanie and her husband Jeff and the twins, Jake and Savannah! They stayed through Monday night! Bo, Jake and Savannah had a great time together. I think Bo is going to love having a little brother to play with. When the kids started playing Bo immediately picked up his ball and threw it at Savannah expecting her to throw it back and then he did the same thing to Jake. Poor Savannah she was out number by the boys =) We had a great time while they were here. Anyways here are a few pictures from their time here!

You're One!

So this was the card I came up with in like 20 minutes for the SCS Color Challenge and the Layout Challenge this week. It was our friends Eric and Leslies little boy Lucas' first birthday on Saturday so I gave it to him! The colors are Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, and Certainly Celery.

Bo's new Bookshelf!

Ok so this is an amazing bookshelf! Jason's dad Mike made this for the boys' room. It turned out so nice. These are the pictures that I took after I got done staining it! This was my first attempt at staining something and I must say that I matched the color of the shelf and the boys' furniture to a T! I was happy! It looks so good up in their room. I went to Target and got three red and two blue 12x12 canvas storage bins for the bottom shelf, so they can store all their toys in them, and then the little shelf is for all their books! I will have to get an after shot of the shelf in their room it looks really good! Thanks Mike!

Our Day at the Zoo....Compliments of the USO!

So on Saturday morning the USO was having a free event for all AD and Reserve Military members and their families! So we went and we had a great time! Afterwards we went and picked up some furniture for our guest room that somebody gave us! Yay, we have a real bed in the guest room! I will have to put pictures of the furniture on later though. It's not all set up yet.

The first animals

we saw were the hyenas, these wild bores, and there was this little fish display along the walk way!

fish

We stopped to see the elephants, they were huge. Then it was off to the fish house. Bo walked up to the glass and was looking at all the fish and then he het the glass and the fish scattered and that scared him. Jason and I were laughing. =) So Jason picked him up and then he was fine!

Goat petting Zoo!

We went into the little goat farm they had and Bo didn't really know what to do or to think. There was one laying on the ground and I think he thought it was a big cat or something, and started petting him. Then Bo just sat down next to the goat and looked at him. Once he was warmed up to the goats he was chasing them.

little bit of everything

We saw lemers, otters, birds and bears. We were also able to snap the family photo. It turned out well for one of those "take it yourself" photos! =)

Grizz;y scratch

This was really cool. The grizzly came out of the den and sniffed around the tree and decided that he was going to scratch his back. It was cool, Bo liked this big bear, he kept pointing to the bear saying wassat (whats that)!

He loves penguins

When we got to the penguins, Bo was in awe. He loved them. They weren't even super active, except for the one that was swimming? He loved them though!

Like father like son

So, I love these pictures. Bo was playing drums on Jasons head and laughing hysterically. The last photo is priceless. I don't know what they were looking at but they have this huh, what? Look on their face. Haha!

Carousel ride!

With our passes we were able to ride the Carousel for free. With the music and the lights, Bo loved it! Of course I secretly love to ride them to!

Monkeys....

Bo loved the apes. He couldn't get out of the wagon fast enough once he saw the ape sitting at the window!
