Crimped Envelope Card!

I tried this new technique this week and loved it! It was so easy and simple to do, this is not my card, but here are the directions and I will post a photo of my card in the morning! Have fun and happy stamping!

Create a pouch out of a regular envelope.

Supplies

• A2 size Envelope


• Paper Trimmer


• Crimper


• Adhesive


• Stamps>>(Gina K. stamp set A Year of Flowers used here)


• Cardstock (for insert)

Step-by-Step

1. Step 1

   Seal the envelope.
   
   Use your paper trimmer to cut 1 1/4" from one of the short sides of the envelope.
   
   The narrow piece will be the topper and the larger piece will be the crimped pocket portion of the card.
   

   

2. Step 2

   Decorate both pieces with stamps, keeping in mind that the bottom piece will be crimped and the images may be slightly distorted.
   

   

3. Step 3

   Place the larger piece into the crimping tool with the opening to the side, and crimp.
   

   

4. Step 4

   Add stamped/cut images, die cuts and embellishments as desired.

   

5. Step 5

   To create the insert, cut a piece of card stock to 4" by 4 1/4".
   
   For a layered look, cut additional pieces slightly smaller.
   

   

6. Step 6

   Stamp and embellish insert as desired.
   

   

7. Step 7

   As a variation you can scale the project down to create gift card holder.

These are a few of the new cards that I made a couple of weeks ago.

Mini Notebooks

These are some mine notebooks that I altered. I covered them all with SU paper except the second one. Added some ribbon and there you have it. They are perfect for your purse, or to use at your desk!

Magnetic post it note holders, and card sets!

I think these are just cute! I covered a 4x4 cardboard coaster with SU paper! Addeda cute library clip, some ribbon, and then your post it notes!






The first card set is made with the Organic Grace stamp set, riding hood red, SU paper, and old olive ribbon! This is a set of eight.


This set was made with the pocket silhouettes, SU paper, Baja Breeze and old olive card stock. This is a set of eight.

Desktop post it note holders

I made these using the plastic picture frames available at walmart. The paper and stamps are all SU.

Chocolate tins:

These are a few Chocolate tins that I made for my recent craft show.

Jason brought Bo out to say Hi. Plus there was a lot of stuff for kids to do there. Bo went in one of those blow up castles and had a run in with another kids head. He had a big lump on his forehead for the rest of the day.

These are ornaments from the new Kit that Stampin' Up has in the Holiday Mini Catalog.



Peppermint patty Spiders. I used the Scallop punch for the body and the photo corner punch for the legs. I used googly eyes and used a punch for the nose as well. So easy and cute!

Halloween Pencil packs. The kids loved these.

Chocolate dipped pretzels with colored sprinkles and sugar.

Bath salt jars. These turned out sooo cute. I sold some of these as well.

Altered Clip boards.


I thought of this at the last minute, but they are gift toppers. Candy canes with some ribbon and a little tag! Love it!
